Salted Date Cookies

These chewy, salty, and sweet cookies are a perfect snack with milk, coffee, or tea.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups Flour All purpose
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 cups Butter unsalted
  • ½ cups Granulated Sugar
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar packed
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup mini Chocolate Chips
  • cups Medjool Dates roughly chopped and pitted

Instructions
 

  • Pre heat the oven to 350° F. Add parchment to line a baking sheet.
  • Cream together the butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla and eggs on medium until they are creamy and well combined.
  • In a separate bowl combine the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Slowly add the flour mixture to the creamed butter and sugar. Sprinkle in ⅓ of the bowl at a time.
  • Mix on low until combined. Do not overmix.
  • Add the chocolate chips and chopped dates.
  • Mix on low until just combined.
  • Refrigerate the dough for 30 minutes (or overnight).
  • Use a tablespoon and scoop out 9 to 12 cookies per baking sheet.
  • Bake the cookies for 11 minutes for a soft chewy cookies or 13-14 minutes for a more crunchy cookies at 350°
