Peach Jalapeno Mockarita

Ingredients
  

Peach Jalapeno Mockarita

  • 2 cups Peach Nectar
  • ½ cups Jalapeno Simple Syrup**
  • 2 cups Grapefruit Soda Water
  • 2 cups Ice
  • 6 peels Grapefruit Zest (4 - 6 peels to garnish) Peels
  • 12 slices Jalapeno Slices (4-5 thin slices to garnish)
  • 6 slices Peach Slices (4-6 slices to garnish)
  • cup Tajin ( to rim the glasses)
  • 1/4 cup Lime juice

Jalapeno Simple Syrup

  • 1 cup Sugar (Granulated)
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 sliced Jalapeno ( seeds included) **The longer the Jalapenos are in the syrup the spicer it becomes.

Instructions
 

Jalapeno Simple Syrup

  • In a medium sauce pan on medium heat, add water, sugar, and jalapenos.
  • Stir sugar, jalapeno mixture, until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  • Pour through a fine mesh strainer into clean container, and keep refrigerator until you are ready to use. Keeps up to 2 weeks refrigerated and covered. (makes about 2 cups)
  • Allow to cool completely before adding to drinks.

Peach Jalapeno Grapefruit Mockarita

  • In a large blender add 2 cups peach nectar, 1/2 cup jalapeno syrup, 2 cups grapefruit soda water, and lime juice and Ice.
  • Blend until smooth.
  • Rim glasses with Tajin.
  • Pour blended drink into chili powder rimed glasses. Garnish. Enjoy.
