Grapefruit, Pear & Rosemary Mocktail Spritzer

Sweet, herbal, and slightly bitter, this complex mocktail will refresh and invigorate your palate.

Ingredients
  

Rosemary Pear Simple Syrup
  • 6 sprigs Fresh Rosemary reserve ¾ for garnish
  • 1 cup Fresh Pear (chopped) ¾ whole pear , reserve ¼ for garnish
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 cup water

  • 2 ounces Rosemary Pear Simple Syrup less if you dont like sweet
  • 2 ounces Grapefruit Juice
  • 4 ounces Soda water
  • 2 ounces Ice

  • 1 ½ cups Rosemary Pear Simple Syrup
  • cups Grapefruit Juice
  • 3 cups Soda water
  • 1-2 cups Ice

Method
 

Rosemary Pear Simple Syrup
  1. In a sauce pan, add granulated sugar, water, ¾ a chopped pear, and 2 sprigs of fresh rosemary.
  2. Let simmer on medium low until the sugar is dissolved (this takes about 5 minutes)
  3. Set syrup asside for the flavors to infuse and to cool.

  1. In a glass tumbler add a handful of ice.
  2. Then add 2 ounces of the Rosemary Pear Simple Syrup.
  3. To that add the grapefruit juice and then the soda water.
  4. To serve, leave the cup with the gradient or stir if you choose.
Grapefruit, Pear & Rosemary Mocktail Spritzer (Group/Pitcher Serving) Assembly
  1. Garnish with rosemary, a slice of pear, and a Grapefruit peel of available.
  2. In a large pitcher add ice.
  3. Pour cooled syrup over the ice.
  4. Then pour in the Grapefruit Juice and soda water.
  5. Mix well from bottom to top so that all the syrup is incorporated. Taste, and adjust to your preference.
  6. Pour in individual glasses and garnish with rosemary, a slice of pear, and a Grapefruit peel of available.
  7. Enjoy!
