Delicate Lavendar and Honey Butter

This delicate lavender and honey butter compound butter comes together easily and instantly make anything you put it on taste amazing! It has the delicate flavors of lavender, balanced by the sweetness of honey all melded together in a creamy buttery spread. It only takes 4 ingredients to make, culinary lavender, honey and butter, now the fourth ingredient is lavender extract. This adds a great flavor but is optional.

What are the health benefits of Lavender and Honey butter?

Additionally, you get all the antioxidants properties of honey and the calming Anti depressive qualities of lavender in one perfect buttery spread. One fun idea is using this compound butter on a brunch butter board and being able to sample all of the delicious flavors on various sweets and treats.

This Lavendar and honey combination is really one of my family’s favorites. We simply love the sweet, floral, and slightly herbal characteristics of the combination. Give it a try today you will love it!

Lavendar & Honey Butter

Ingredients Method

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup Softened Butter
  • 1/4 tsp Lavendar extract
  • 1 Tbs Culinary Lavendar
  • 1 1//2 Tbs Honey

Method
 

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine lavendar, Lavender extract, and honey.
  2. Mash together until roughly combined.
  3. You still want to see swirls of honey and lavender speck.
  4. Scrape the butter out onto wax or parchment paper
  5. Form into a log with the spatula
  6. Roll the butter log up in parchment and refrigerate or freeze until firm.
  7. Use immediately or store in your fridge within 3 weeks.
