I was raised with avocado toast. You know, toast, mashed avocado, lime, salt and pepper. It was perfect. Suddenly a couple of years ago it started to get really popular, I was mildly sort of perplexed. I had always had avocado toast, and I wondered why people were making such a big deal about it. Then I started to see the amazing and very gourmet variations on the basic. When I tried one of these “gourmet” varieties I understood what the fuss was all about.
Avocado and Smoked Salmon Toast is a delicious mashup between two of my favorite things. Avocado Toast and lox and bagels with capers. This is Avocado toast with Smoked salmon capers, a light sprinkling of red onion, salt and pepper then finally a generous squeeze of lime juice on top. It is absolute perfection no matter what time of day you decided to eat this scrumptious toast. I recommend you make and enjoy this today!
