It is June 7th, my kids just got out of school and all I can think about is enjoying the summer. This is an homage to my sunny SoCal food fusion vibe with a lot of Mexican influence into the food culture. I am obsessed with mint and jalapeno right now. I mean those two have to go together.
This is one of the best drinks I have ever made. I love complexity in mocktails. The most famous mocktails are sweeeet drinks that all you can really detect is sugar. This drink has everything. The blood orange brings a bitter citrus note, the mint brings fresh herbacousness, a bit of jalapeno syrup adds sweet and spiciness. When these flavors are all combined they absolutely dance on your palate. You have to try this drink today!
So here is the recipe without further adoue
