Who needs an easy shortcut cake that is a total show stopper??? Okay, I saw quite a few hands… Here is the deal. This cake tastes amazing and is literally one of the easiest bakes ever. It is made with ingredients that you most likely already have in your cupboard. The holidays are days away, and if you are like me you have been BUSY! This cake takes 10 minutes at most to through together, and it tastes amazing!
Once this cake is baked, it is gorgeous as is, but if you want to top it, you can easily sprinkle it with powdered sugar, or you can make the 2 ingredient white chocolate ganache, and drizzle it over the top to add the real wow factor. Either way this cake is easy enough to make on a weeknight for a last minute dessert, and pretty enough to bring to any holiday party. Believe me people will think you are a baking champion when they taste this amazingly delicious cake. Only you have to know that this cake barely took you ten minutes to put together. Whatever you do give this cake a try it will quickly become a household favorite!
Eggnog Bundt Cake
Ingredients
- 1 pkg Pillsbury Yellow Cake Pilsbury is the tastiest yellow cake
- 1 pkg Vanilla instant pudding (4.5oz) Butterscotch is good in this too.
- 1½ cup Eggnog full fat
- 2 whole Eggs
- ½ tsp Nutmeg
- ¼ tsp Cloves** optional
- ¼ tsp Allspice** optional
White chocolate Ganache
- ½ cup White chocolate
- ½ cup Heavy Whipping Cream
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°
- Use oil spray to spray your bundt pan, then use 2 tbs of sugar and coat the oiled bunt pan in granulated sugar. Set aside.
- In a medium bowl add the yellow cake mix, the pudding, eggs, eggnog, and spices.
- Mix for 2 minutes on low for a stand mixer, or hand mixer.
- Scrape the sides, and mix again for another 10 seconds.
- Pour the cake batter into your sugar and oiled bundt pan.
- Smooth the cake and place in the 350° degree oven
- Bake for 45 minutes or until a toothpick comes our clean and the cake is nicely browned.
- Cool and then sprinkle with powdered sugar or drizzle with white chocolate ganache.
White Chocolate Ganache
- Pour the heavy whipping cream to microwave safe bowl
- Heat the Heavy whipping cream in the microwave for 1 minute or until hot.
- Add the white chocolate to the hot cream and allow to sit for 5 minutes.
- Whisk the cream and white chocolate together until they are smooth and fully combined.
- Allow the ganache to cool and drizzle it on the cake.
- Sprinkle the top of the cake with nutmeg ( optional)
